i-tri is spreading love and empowerment using our digital network. #itriSTRONG was created to help everyone in the i-tri community thrive during this difficult time. Here’s what you can expect:
For Our Girls: We are unwavering in our strong commitment to our girls. In light of COVID-19 and social distancing recommendations, we have modified our programming into a digital format. Our girls continue to receive the instruction and training to reach their MIND, BODY and SPIRIT goals, via weekly Video Conference Calls. We’ve taken our empowerment, exercise and training sessions online, keeping our girls connected to our programs. Like our live meetings, these digital engagements are helping our girls build strong connections, gain emotional support and learn tools to help them succeed for years to come.
For Our Supporters: For years we have heard people say, if only they had i-tri when I was growing up… Now, more than ever, we all need the tools i-tri teaches. So we are going to bring a small piece of our empowerment curriculum to YOU through the Positivity Project.

Our program leaders continue to inspire our girls during this time with weekly empowerment sessions, at-home fitness training, group chats, mental health support and more!
What Are We Learning This Week: Words Hurt
Words Hurt…They Can Also Heal
“Sticks and stones can break our bones, but words can never hurt us.” Anyone who’s been bullied knows how untrue this saying is. WORDS HURT– we all know that, but how does it affect our energy. This week our girls used divine rods to measure how bullying affects our energy. They learned that bullying lowers the energy of both the bully and the victim… so just imagine what happens when we bully ourselves!
The opposite is also true. We feel great when someone gives us a compliment and is nice to us. This makes our energy levels go up.
If we close our eyes and put our hands over our hearts and say “I love you (name),” you can feel your energy rising!
After You Forgive Yourself, Compliment Yourself
Last week, you learned to forgive yourself. This week, we want you to compliment yourself. Tell yourself something you are proud of or that you like about yourself… especially now during this time. What are you doing to make things better for you and your loved ones? Your energy will increase as soon as you do it. So keep doing it.
Don’t forget to:
