Theresa Roden, who a decade ago founded the I-Tri (transformation through triathlon) program for adolescent girls, a mentoring effort that has grown greatly since, was to have received at the Cornell Club in New York City this morning a national award from the Business Council for Peace, an organization promoting the efforts of women leaders who have worked to advance other women’s careers at home and abroad.
